What more would it take to get consideration from you?

Lavalais was better.

Lavalais is underrated, I'll agree. I'm not sure we had another DT as good as Dorsey, at least not one whose name doesn't rhyme with Nicfarland.

And Brockers was the absolute machine that most people didn't notice. He was a mule inside. Dorsey was unreal.

Glenn Dorsey should absolutely have his name up there.

2-time All-American 1st team. Won every individual defensive award imaginable his senior season. Won SEC and national titles.

Stayed for his senior season. He was going to be a 1st-round pick in the 2007 NFL Draft before an injury during his junior season. Pretty sure he's an LSU grad. Homegrown guy from right down the road. Lengthy NFL career. He checks every box.

Dorsey recovered a fumble on his first ever snap as an LSU Tiger.

Put him up there.

The answer is easy. Yes. And I love that he played 4 years.

2× First-team All-SEC (2006, 2007)
2× First-team All-American (2006, 2007)
SEC Defensive Player of the Year (2007)
Lombardi Award (2007)
Outland Trophy (2007)
Bronko Nagurski Trophy (2007)
Lott Trophy (2007)
