for those of u that cannot see pass your nose
florida has lost 5 mid week games , with the best starting pitching, & would not come back on the field in a game w/ stetson, they were down big after 4 innings
mid week games allow teams to play young players & non starters

Did it take you a while to fire up the PC and type this out? You seem very upset considering it's still early on a Wednesday.

You also forgot to mention that they won 8. 3 of those are against a good FSU team and one of the losses was to a top 25 USF team.

Additionally, their losses were earlier in the season. There is a reason why their RPI is so good.

3-0 against FSU
3-0 against Miami
Win against USF
10 straight SEC wins
Leading the SEC right now

But yes, totally apples to apples

What "non starters" have we started in midweek games this year that hasn't been a weekend starter at some point this year or last...? LSU and Florida are in the same boat. TOP RANKED TEAMS SHOULD NOT BE .500 IN MIDWEEK GAMES ON THE YEAR.

fsu
26 RPI with a good chance to break the top 20. Wins at home, away, and neutral.

miami
70 RPI, but UF has 3 wins although at home. Definitely less significant.

Maybe not but they're still quality ooc opponents. Compare them, for instance, with Auburn going into last week. Auburn was leading the SEC yet were like 18 or 19 in the RPI

Yea,these midweek games haven't exactly been against the '98 Southern Cal team.

Of course, as goofy as this team has been watch them make it to Omaha winning the first regional and Super on the road.
