And while i understand this country is based on "freedom of speech", I just can't understand why any true fan would call the players they root for every week vulgar names and wish harm on them.
Some of this stuff makes the Gumps look civilized.

People need to realize game threads are very reactionary and posters react from play to play, even pitch to pitch. Game threads are not big pictures of the games. People are whiny but it's all reactionary to what just happened. It shouldn't bother people as much as it does. Game threads suck anyways and I don't see why people sit there and spend time posting in them. When I try to do that I find I'm posting more than I'm watching the game.

Yeah some of that stuff is crazy but a lot of it are people mad Florida just hit a 3 run shot.. or our outfielders just collided. Game threads are terrible on any site.
