Just got to Chicago this morning and have seen a solid amount of LSU fans walking around today. I know many more are coming tomorrow and Friday. Looking forward to a great week and weekend and as always Geaux Tigers!

wrong - it absolutely IS true.

I work in Atlanta and our company acquired two companies: one from Chicago and one from New Jersey. A lot of people relocated down to Atlanta.

Many of the guys were big sports fans, but it was all pro: Bears, Jets, Giants, etc. They didn't give a shite about college sports. And these were college educated guys.

So Chicago, NY, Philly, etc. are all pro towns.

They're actually just huge cities with many different walks of life. Some people there probably care a lot about college sports. Some don't. Crazy, I know.

Chicago is a hodge podge of B1G alums and a lot of other alumni bases mixed in. Which is awesome on college football saturdays, because every school has a bar and many of them are all close together. There are times where I can catch four different games with four different fanbases. It's cool meeting people from all the different schools and getting their unique atmosphere.

well yea, those cites have millions of residents and of course there are people there that care about college sports.

But predominantly, those are pro towns.

By contrast, I live in Atlanta, and this is a college town. Of course people like the Falcons and Braves and Hawks, but it's a smaller % compared to SEC and ACC fans.

So Atlanta is predominantly a college sports town, and I think it's mostly the opposite up north. Even the sports talk radio guys here admit that, and they're mostly transplants from up north.

Thanks. I wasn't aware of what some big cities are like. I've only lived in NYC since the 1990s. Thanks for helping a brother out.

A few jerk offs from Chicago move to your shitty company and you project their sports fandom over the entire city of Chicago. Then you come here and claim that it "absolutely IS true." Why u do dis?

OK. So you admit that your initial support of the statement that I was disputing is wrong. Thanks.
