The bammers, IMHO, are excellent fans.

One day a year - game day. I've been to bamaland and around them on our campus and have found that they are tolerable.

It's the other 364 when they are such prikkly bastads.

I was catching grief last year THE DAY AFTER WE WON about how lucky we were and that wouldn't happen again, etc....

They are truly delusional.

I live in Fl and one of my good friends is a Gump every week we talk shite about each others schools and who'se better. Starting After the Aubbie game he stopped texting and talking shite and all I could get is "Fu@k you! we will win because its at home!" now he won't retuen my texts or calls.

Oh Yeah! They're scared!!

Made me think back to what Coach Miles said about the West Virginia crowd - they were having a football party and invited us.

I go to Alabama and am considering turning off facebook and twitter this week because it is getting so annoying. No lack of Roll Tides or confidence, but I guess that's expected. A lot of my friends have already mentioned they do not want to be around me this weekend, and my roommates said I can't talk positively about LSU in our house. Brutal.

It hasn't been too bad. I have lots of good friends who are Bama fans and we've been doing this for years. So, they are coming at me with stuff, but it is pretty good natured. But, I've lived in Alabama for some time now and I have lots of good relationships here. I can see how it would be harder if I had only been here a year or so.

I know how to live amongst the Bammers.

I was in Birmingham for the game in 1982. I had my 11 year old son with me and we were sitting next to a Gump who had a son about the same age as mine. He was very polite and cordial in the beginning, but the first time we turned the ball over he got in my face and said: "Now we're gonna beat the frick out of you!" I was stunned at the sudden change in attitiude. The great part is that we went on to beat the stuffing out of them 20-10. He disappeared and the LSU band and fans took over the stadium for a very big post game celebration.

These people up here are awful. This may be the worst year for their shite talk. When Shula was coaching they were ok but now that Dickhead is their coach they dont think they are gonna lose another game. U get the usual Miles in an idiot, etc etc but this year seems to be worse than others.

I just went trick or treating with my kids tonight and had on my LSU sweatshirt and couldnt get out of my driveway good before this a-hole of a neighbor I got asked me if I was ready for the beatdown that was coming. I just laughed at him and said yall aint really that good and we aint Kent State. In their minds and they have mentioned this to me several times, they think they are gonna beat us like they beat Fla in the SEC championship a couple of years ago.

Honest to god, I have never met a person FROM Alabama in my life that was worth his weight in anything...cocky, arrogant, blowhards, and with those traits, mostly not the sharpest crayon in the box. To be fair, I am quite sure this is probably not true of all of their residents-we have plenty a-holes here, just unfortunate that my personal experiences have been all bad. Had two bosses from AL (worst 2 supervisors I have had in 18 years of working) and supervised many (most I have fired or they left on bad terms). Met many people across the south (Arky, MS, FL, etc.) and don't find the 'sh*t don't stink mentality' as prevalent. I have a good feeling that Saturday will be a Damn Fine Saturday

I am bama fan in La and it has been tough on me but I fight back. My dog has shite all over one lsu fan yard the last week. The other dude living by me has a fine daughter still living at home who comes over and I do her screaming roll tide, baby to her. She gets a little pissed but she is okay with it. RTR
