People go to the game to decide what bar they are going to attend after the 1st half at this point. At least that is my observation.

the leaving early crowd is huge. instead of bitching about them I think a survey should be taken to determine WHY they are leaving early. I strongly suspect it's the horrible traffic situation after the game. I think something should be done about that but 100,000 people create lots and lots of traffic. my only idea, which would be expensive is mass transport in and out of the stadium and it would get preferential departure treatment. but what do I know.

lastly, while I agree many, many fans, esp. on this site are just whiney little entitled juvenile bitches. but realize that the majority of LSU fans do not post on this site. these fans continue to insist that LSU HAS TO be as good as bama, etc. well, that just doesn't happen right now. hell, Saban is one of the reasons why our depth on the lines of scrimmage is weak. the state of Louisiana simply does not produce enough talent to be on that top tier every year and we HAVE TO supplement with OOS guys. meanwhile, Saban poaches some of our best linemen. Miles started this and masked it with signing a million 4 and 5 star DB's and RB's. however, chavis and haley were ruining our DL pipeline and the previous OL coach was a pretty bad recruiter also.

sorry, I got off track; I wish most of the crowd stayed until the end. last nights game actually was an entertaining football game.

I understand why people leave early, or just don't bother showing up at all. I don't agree with them, but I understand.

I left my house at 8am yesterday. I got home after midnight. That's a huge investment in time. The food isn't that great. The instant replay in stadium is a damn joke. Seriously. Every single replay is from a field level camera from behind the quarterback. You can't see shite.

I think a lot people just aren't that dedicated anymore since the team hasn't been contending for titles for the past couple of years. I understand, though I don't agree.

These people, I believe, were probably Miami fans in the 80s or Florida State fans in the 90s. They probably have a Cleveland Indians hat on mail order.

This may turn out to be a good thing, as we sluff off the people who truly weren't fans until LSU started mattering nationally.

Any major college football team like LSU that struggles will have fans that complain. This is nothing new.
