LSU fans and players love Les Miles, and Miles loves LSU

The enormous hurt we all feel from the recent losses is undeniable, but this doesn't erase the fact that most LSU fans and LSU players still love and respect Les Miles. And Miles loves Louisiana and LSU. Make no mistake, Miles is a Louisiana man now, and he's been far more positive for the state of Louisiana than most of our political leaders. I don't know what the final solution will be, but I hope it's one that allows Miles to remain a part of Louisiana and LSU in some capacity.

Well said if we could move him into an administrative role that would be great.

Definitely dont want this to get ugly as ive always liked and respected Miles. Hopefully he gets to leave with dignity. But it is definitely time for a change.

He can retire and stay in Louisiana. Sounds like the best thing for him.

I would love this but some school will make a run at Les to be their coach

I think Les is a good guy but it comes down to performance and results. In the end it is a business decision and LSU needs to move on. Les does not deserve one more year. He has had 11 years. That is enough.

Forgot what sports talk i was listening to but almost never ends well for the coaches that have been around for a while

Les has been a great representative for LSU, a great leader role model and coach

We demand alot in this new age of football, wish Miles could leave on his own terms

So if we cut a deal with him so that he remains a part of Louisiana and LSU in some capacity, in 4 years will he threaten to become a part of Michigan or Arkansas unless we renegotiate the deal so that he gets more goodies?

Your talking shite now. I know this, Les Miles loves and respects the state of Lousiana and it's people a great deal more than Saban ever did.

So many egos and so much politics that go on with coaches, athletic departments, and boosters, but in a perfect world it would be nice for Les to leave with respect and have something for him in some capacity with LSU.

This might actually help secure the next coach.

I feel strongly that Les should remain a part of Louisiana and LSU, but I also feel that he shouldn't be the head coach next year, just at some other capacity for LSU.

Let LSU screw this up as far as how this is handled and whom they select as our new coach, and you'll be really amazed at the responses.
