Imagine a Sally Struthers-type host asking for donations, not to feed a hungry child, but to raise the millions required to buyout Les Miles's current contract. He/she would describe the plight of Larry, a former-diehard fan who has been tortured by the Mad Hatter since 2005. Poor Larry's love of the game has been slowly starved to the brink of death during the time Miles has been at LSU.
