LSU fan Day question

I'm taking my daughter (5 years old) to her first fan day this weekend and curious what to expect. Currently, I'm picturing a bunch of kids with their dads as part of group A and group B being and older booger eating dorks still hungry for autographs well into or well past their 20s.
Our plan is to basically spend the day on campus (riding bikes, taking pics, etc), eating a crappy lunch at Walk Ons the heading over the the field house.
her must do's are to see and meet some cheerleaders and Mike the Tiger and she really wants to meet #7. She doesn't know his name but hears me talk about him quite a bit and has him built up in her mind like a Disney character. Seriously, she talks more about meeting him than she did meeting Anna & Elsa.
That being said, if meeting him is a priority I would imagine it should be high on our agenda and probably the first thing we do when we get there.
Question for those who have been before...are my expectations fairly accurate and what time should we be lining up if we don't want to wait an hour to see Buga?

For a 5 year old, it is going to be really hot and they make you line up outside for awhile until it opens at around 3:30. Then you sit around and wait until 5 for autographs and my guess is a 5 year old will get a little antsy. I would go to basketball practice facility as there will be less people at the defense and special teams side. It's pretty embarrassing all the adults that will be in line trying to get an autograph from Fournette. If you can tolerate the madness on the hottest days of summer go for it.

You need to be in line AT LEAST 2 hours before the doors open.
