I couldn't resist buying these from a friend who is liquidating his college football collection. He painted these. These are designed for electric football league play where the offense is in dark jerseys and the defense in white. For more money, I could have had him paint me a customized set of the 2003 National Champions, but decided I could live with generics. Obviously, there are some familiar numbers.

And looking at these, the purple jerseys are much underrated. They are beautiful. That said, I still prefer that we wear them against cupcakes and wear the iconic white in home conference games. At any rate, I consider this a good investment.

What a jump it was from talking about a sports collection to wishing we'd wear purple jerseys more

Yeah, he lives in South Carolina and is a Tennessee fan, so these are pictured on his field. He has a set for all 120 Division 1 teams.

I've spent my limit on the hobby, including a custom LA Rams board and players I use for tournament/league play but shoot, you're right. I'm gonna have to get a custom "Eye of the Tiger" Tiger Stadium field made.

This gets more expensive since I have neither the time nor the skill to do it myself.

we need to run that 6-5 defense more often. Teams couldn't handle that kind of pressure...

I was at a toys r us with my 7 year old and I saw the new stadiums I was like hold up buddy we gotta make a pit stop. I started buttering him up to get into it so I can get one lol. Back when I was into it I could never find any college teams. I'd take the Green Bay white jersey team paint the stripes on the pants and the helmet to look like LSU and use Vikings purple numbers. Old bills were auburn Indy was Kentucky and there were a couple others I could adjust with paint to look like college teams. Then I stumbled onto them once the internet came out and was like shite I need that. I still have most of my NFL teams but if anyone has a good website to purchase college teams from id be grateful if you could post a link.

Hey, get in touch with the guy I'm buying these from. His page on FB is entitled Beenutt.

He had all 120 Division 1 teams available and is liquidating them. He is getting more detailed players in and will start a new collection.

I grabbed LSU right off the bat, but he can paint you another set.

Also, search Matt McGraw on Facebook. Lives around Mobile. Great guy, though he's a gump fan. One of the best painters out there. He stays booked, but turns around in reasonable time and does breathtaking work.

Yeah, most of these guys do not have websites because of copyright issues with the NFL. They usually stick to FB and depend on word-of-mouth within hobby circles.

Okay, Beenutt does have a website. He may deal strictly with college.
