Update...
LSU-E will be playing tomorrow UCONN Avery Point for the championship who just upset for the 2nd day in a row top seed Western Oklahoma State College 8-5...

LSU-E Bengals made it back to the NJCAA DII CWS Championship going for their 3rd title since 2006 on Saturday...they won their other won in 2008...
LSU Eunice (52-13) def. Iowa Central Community College (50-16), 15-4 yesterday to advance and UCONN Avery Point (40-9) def. #1 Western Oklahoma State College (56-6), 5-2 in an upset in 13 innings last night with a walk off 3 run homerun forcing another game today to decide who will meet LSU-E Saturday...
Western Oklahoma defeated LSU-E 11-1 a couple of days ago forcing LSU-E to go through the losers bracket...
LSU-E's journey through the CWS...
LSU Eunice (48-12) def. Parkland College, Ill. (48-12), 16-5
LSU Eunice (49-12) def. Paradise Valley Community College, Ariz. (41-20), 11-2

Are they gonna be on tv? I watched them a few years ago on tv. I'll listen to JH on GZ and watch the Eunice Tigers on tv..

I don't know...been looking...I'm pretty sure KBON radio out of Eunice will broadcast the game...I'd like to watch it myself also...I listened to the championship games on the internet in '06 and '08...

If you go to the school website (lsue.edu) and click on athletics; there will be video of the game along with audio from KVPI. The start time of the game is 1 p.m.

and you know this how? Yes at first the step up would set them back some and no one would expect them to immediately compete for the JCWS DI title but with the move up its quite possible they could start attracting better talent than what they have now to be able to consistently compete at that level especially since they have already established that they are a winning program the past several years and they do play D1 teams from time to time during the regular season...

no shite...but did you not read the entire post or are you just here to bash a DII team cause you do not recognize DII teams as "real" teams?

Eventually they probably make it, but I guarantee they wouldn't go every year like they do now or once every few years
the difference between d1 and d2 is d2 doesn't give room and board
I find it hard to believe the players at lsue pay for their on campus living. So technically they should be playing d1 now but then the wouldn't hang banners
