It kinda does matter. For LSU it matters a lot .from there, LSzu coukd win out and not make the playoff.

Yeah no.

They don't mean anything. LSU could lose another game, win the West, win the SEC Championship, and they would almost absolutely be in the playoff.

Well even though I don't think this shite show can be fixed, this is the time to lose and drop. If somehow they get their shite together and we run the table they will be back up at the top.

But, more likely will drop out of the poll all together and Les is burned at the stake.

Coaches poll don't decide if lsu makes the playoff. APPARENTLY doesn't either. This is just a ranking based on performance and talent.

The fact that this team is even getting votes muchless ranked 22 shows that polls for the most part are a joke.

I think overall the poll is pretty fair and LSU is ranked fairly based on what they showed Saturday. -

I want to know which person other than Dabo Sweeney had Clemson at #1.

Too high. Shouldn't even be ranked.

Complete embarrassment.

Wow. I could see maybe 16-17.

How many yards did we have at halftime, like 50?

If preseason polls didn't exist we wouldn't even sniff the top 50.

The only possible scenario where LSU wouldn't make it under this scenario is if there's a 11-1 (7-1) team in the West. Let's say we lose to Florida and then win out, and that other team is Alabama.

They'd have to pick between an 11-2 SEC Champ in LSU and an 11-1 Alabama, whose only loss was a tight game @ LSU.

An SEC team is getting in. There could be multiple two-loss teams in the playoff, IMO. The Big 12 is garbage. Is Oklahoma still the favorite to win that conference? If they are, they have to win out to avoid two losses, with a game against Ohio State. I do think they'll beat Ohio State, FWIW.

The Pac 12? The beat the shite out of each other last season, and it should only be worse this season. Maybe Stanford can do it? Well Stanford has to play @ Notre Dame too. Notre Dame? Already has a loss.

The Big Ten schedule is tricky for a lot of teams. Honestly, Michigan is the only Big Ten East team I think is more than likely to get through their schedule with less than 2 losses and win the league.

It's going to be carnage all over college football this season.
