LSU does not owe the Aggies a penny over contract in the past

Aggies been spreading lies.

LSU eventually refused to play the final two games and the schools settled the matter for $100,000. Attempts by LSU to renew the series have been rebuffed, insiders say, because of lingering hard feelings over breaking the contract.

Had an Aggie tell me today that A&M doesn't owe LSU a dime for Chavis for backing out out the games in the 90s.

The Aggies really do need to shut up about LSU owing them money from the 90s. It just isn't true.

When there is a contractual dispute you go to Court and settle it. I told this to an Aggie frien of mine over 20 years ago when he brought the topic up. Just like the Chavis dispute. It is in Court. Where it should be and where that case should have gone if the Aggies truly felt they were right. A&M chose not do go to court. Shut up then.

When your program cheats so much that they're not allowed to have their games televised, you simply aren't capable of meeting the reasonable expectations of such a contract. The school who backed out of the deal was Texas A&M, not LSU.

ATM should have been held in breach of contract for cheating during that time period. LSU agreed to play those games in good faith and didn't realize they were dealing with "lose at any cost" scumbags. The NCAA punished them. Their fans should be ashamed to bring up the subject.
