Look on the bright side...you think this bc you don't know what you're talking about. The good news is that you're wrong & some of them will be drafted.

There are easily 10 draftees among DBs on this LSU roster.

10???

easily???

This is the number of drafted DB's on LSU's last 4 teams to play in National Championship games.

and you think this team has 10? with that safety group?

2003-3
2007-5
2011-7
2019-7

10? Lol. So this is the possibly best DB room we have ever had?

lol based on what?

Harris hasn’t done anything to warrant being drafted at this point

Alexander and chestnut I think will get drafted.

Burns and brooks are maybe 6th rounders at best at this point

Sam is a 6th year guy he’s not getting drafted

Everyone else hasn’t even played a significant down yet

This always happens. Fast forward to the NFL combine and he’ll probably be 6’4 1/2”.

Yep. LSUSports.net has Foster Moreau listed as 6-6, 256. NFL.com has him at 6-4, 250.

If you listen to Kelly's press conference he even alluded to playing Andre Sam allowed them to move Brooks to the nickel. I don't think you're going to see Sage Ryan start the season as the starting Nickel.

Mekhi Wingo will definitely be starting at the other DT position along side Maason Smith.

I see what you did though but it may be confusing to some.

This. Wingo is our ironman on the DL. Guy will get more snaps than anyone. Chart is set up to be confusing.

I'm going for 3 comments in a row sorry, but that OL is very good. I'm so happy we have a coach that knows what he's doing at that position.

As a general rule you can take an inch off every player’s listed height.

There are some exceptions of course.

You don’t think Wingo is a starter?

My Depth Charts are never about what I think, unless I specify that. One of the reports was that Maason Smith was taking the 1st team reps at DT, and Jacobian Guillory was taking 1st team reps beside him at NT.

LSU is running a 3-safety defense this season according to BK.

And they ran a 3-Safety defense for the entire season last year as well.
LSU folks are going to have to get adjusted to this. Even Hester was still confused about it this morning. They are no longer putting their fastest CB at Nickel. They use the "Buffalo" Nickel to drop down and help like a LB when all these teams are running the spread.

I thought it was pretty obvious that it didn’t mean in the 2024 draft, but overall.

It’s not that wild. You can assume at least 1 of Alexander/Chestnut gets drafted in 24, if not both.

Was it wild to say JBC would get drafted last year? Garner & Richardson both signed as UDFA too.

Your offense looks perfect. Your defense has two obvious problems. I realize these are the result of your rules, but they are still glaring. First, Brooks should be starting at safety with Burns, then Sage Ryan will start at nickel. Second, Wingo should be starting at tackle next to Smith.

That's what I had for my Depth Chart before yesterday, but then I updated it to reflect what was reported by various sources.
• Matt Moscona reported that Brooks had bumped out to Nickel and Andre Sam was playing Safety with the 1st team.
• Someone else reported that it was M. Smith and J. Guillory running with the 1st team. Remember, When Smith went out last year, he was playing DT, and Wingo stepped in for him at that spot. We may see Smith move to NT in the days to come, but I'm simply reflecting the reporting.

HB is the only position where there was complete ambiguity. All of the reports stated that different pairs of RBs were running with the 1st team. Therefore, I left the Depth Chart unchanged until we can get some more clarity.
