LSU coaches made only 1 real mistake all year

It was play selection against Auburns Dline/defense in the red zone in the 23-20.
The game should have been 33-20.
That's really the only notable mistake that risked a possible loss.
The Plumlee run fest is possibly another, but that game was of no real risk, and we were experimenting, and Plumlee is a freak.
Anyway...one notable mistake.
And, they have not repeated it.
That is super impressive.

Last TD we gave up in the Bama game could have been very costly. Being in man coverage there seemed unnecessary given the situation. Unless that was just a blown coverage.

man was fine. the issue was we shoulda been in cover 3 MAN UNDER and having db's playing off 10 to 15 yards. we were right up maybe 5 yards off the LOS. no need for that. in cover 3 we woulda had a safety on that side of field for help over the top should the WR get by the DB. anytime you play closer to line it is riskier. we were not playing man press jamming/bump and run but we were still way too close to line. play way off. tackle them in bounds and make clock run.

wasn't blown at all. we just got beat with a terrible coverage for that time in the game. blown coverage was the bomb they scored on earlier when D was fooled looking at sidelines.

we coulda scored more all year if we wished in MOST games. 50 against UGA. easily 80 against OU. most games we slowed it down to let clock run.
