I expected a better performance. I know it’s early but it’s early for Texas as well

Good thing is that CPM has more reason to move Hess back to closer. Got a feeling we are going to see some big changes with the pitching staff next weekend. Hope so anyway.

According to the baseball scientists, that’s the game and you shouldn’t worry about it.

Why weren't you posting shite about the team while LSU was leading in the game? I know why....

But they have really cool walk-out songs! Ooh, and did you know that you can ask a player a question via their social media broadcast sessions?!? And don’t forget that these guys travel in style!

Somewhere buried in all the social media posts and extracurricular bullshite is a talented group of ball players. But, right now, they’re just a bunch of pampered pretty boys. Maybe this arse kicking will get them in gear. We’ll see

Don’t hold your breath. Hess will stay there because he “earned” it.. nevermind that it’s not what’s best for the team.

Everything looked really bad this weekend! Pitching, hitting, fielding, catching, base running, coaching! This team definitely was not ready to play! Wonder if it can be fixed? Or will this be a long season?

Well said. Upvote. Theyll get it together, and the baseball team has always had chicks on their jocks and attention beyond. But play ball. Do the other stuff after season over. This team has all the makings of a champion.

The entire outfit- coaches and players did not represent us well in any of he 3 games, and need to be embarrassed with their weekend performance. Long ride home.

Agreed. Texas is by far more talented than anyone they’ve faced this year. arse whippings are never fun, but it can build character with the right players and leadership. I look forward to seeing how these guys respond

That loss is not on Peterson either. He should’ve had 4 outs in the 9th inning on lazy ground balls. Defense failed in the 9th.

CPM has shown over and over again that he can fix things. 2009 we lost 2/3 at home to Illinois. 2017 we were 21-11 in early April and you should know how it ended.

I think all the pieces are there. We have talent on offense and pitching, just need to figure out who fits in where. There were some bright spots this weekend even though it doesn’t seem like it. A lot of questions were answered. A series like this will probably end up helping us more than a home series sweep against an average to below average team would have. We will learn a lot next weekend too with Cal coming in. They’re not a great team but it’ll be a good test and opportunity to improve.
