With regard to plastering ads everywhere, LSU is the Tin Cup of college athletic programs.

I’m wondering why there was not this same level of outrage when Middleton’s name was removed from the library. He actually accomplished things and deserved the honor.

It needs to stay the Dale Brown Court. Period.
As far as Cox, Cox is on the court because that is part of their advertising contract. I don’t think the board is going to want to refund any money.

If it were up to me, i wouldn’t name the court at all. They should have stripped Brown’s name from it and left it at that.

Everyone knows that in order to get the good players you were going to pay. Its the way basketball has ALWAYS been and the way it still is. Do you really think all of those coaches of other teams constantly got the top guys just bc kids wanted to play for them? No, they had and still have assistants doing the EXACT same thing. No one cares that players got some incentive to come to LSU.

LSU BOS meeting reminds me of every small town in LA that has that certain location behind that specific door where secret bourre card game happens, City power is secretly distributed via nepotism deals, my grandpa loved your grandpa decision making and top shelf bourbon sharing.
