You’ll pass the Indian Mounds, and feel free to stray from the road and check out tailgates around there,

That's where we are set up, between Jackson hall and the amphitheater. The drum line circles up next to us and puts on a 15-20 minute show every game. I'll give you a jello syringe. The yellow one's look like pee, but they are lemon drops. I promise.

LSU is on another level when it comes to tailgating. We're playing chess and the rest of the country is playing checkers.

King alleva decided to put a fence on one side of my tailgate spot and a sidewalk that we have to keep clear for golf carts on the other side.... its lit.

But whatever we'll still be going nuts

The best scene used to be the RV lot right behind the south endzone. It was just an awesome site to see that much partying going on and how nice those RVs were. LSU killed that, but across the campus, the scene is still awesome.

You should check out KOCKA Tailgating. They have a FB page. They have a pretty impressive resume of write-ups in national and local magazines.

Southern Living/SI is visiting them this weekend as is a crew shooting a "Legends of the Tailgate" series.

A tailgate in between Stubbs & Audubon Hall does it pretty big.

Just finished cooking: Grilled pork tenderloin with blackberry BBQ sauce, grilled chicken wings, rice dressing, "kicked up"queso and roasted vegetables. Your choice of cold beverage
