Who has seen the short "Roadgame" workout videos the basketball Facebook page has posted? So far they've posted two. I can definitely see why some guys left the program.

For those that haven't seen it, you would guess they're football players preparing for their season and not basketball.

Love it also. He said the key word for me in that first video, "detail". Football and basketball have lacked that very important aspect of the program for far too long.

Holy shite. I love this! Wade hasn't coached one game here yet and he's my favorite LSU BBALL coach

Couple years ago, I think they were still under Billy Donovan, Florida showed some workouts of their basketball team. Tire flips, car pulls, all sorts of craziness. If you're out here now competing in 90 to 100 degree heat in August, that's pretty dedicated. That's exciting. If they left because of workouts, trim that fat. The team will be better for it.

Best part -- I don't recognize half the team!

Damn. He's really trying to establish grit if he has them doing conditioning work on the Rec field in front of the Nat.

Hopefully Wade checked it for potholes.

This also looked like a football conditioning drill to me.

Wade is really making a great first impression with his early signees and transfers, and his emphasis on tough conditioning drills for the players.

Listen to the first video. You'll hear a certain "aight" reminiscent of another no-nonsense coach who did pretty well at LSU and is currently doing pretty well at another school.

Will Wade (that looks weird as a question) reach great heights at LSU? Who knows? However, the mindset is a 180 from Jones' complete lack of detail. LSU never took pride the "little things" well. That's why there was no consistency. When everyone was focused and fired up they could play with anyone in the country (UK, Oklahoma, etc). However, they could just as easily get beat by a horrible team the next week.

All you need to watch is two of Wade's press conf. at VCU to get a sense of his demeanor:

This was after a conference WIN
