Lsu basketball is a dumpsterfire

And we will struggle to win 6 conference games next season. It was a mistake not to explore coaching options after this season was over. Prove me wrong/cheer me up

Yep program is a joke. At least I won't be tempted to watch this year and have ridiculous expectations for the team. Stress free will be nice for a change.

Dude just wait for next season to play out jeez. Debbie downers everywhere on the board. If blakeney returns we gonna see patteron g blakeney g sampson g victor f and maybe reath or if robinson improves at the other f. We wont be national contenders but doubt we go under .500 winning percentage

I'm hopeful with the players coming back ... But not to hopeful about Johnny Jones capabilities of coaching the team ...We are stuck with Jones for no telling how long.. Its a sad time for LSU basketball.

Yeah, Administration don't care, but baseball ain't any better...Just a run of bad administrators, with some really bad hires. I'll admit its hard to see who's careers are over when you hire them, that the fire has already left, and they don't have the will, or energy, to fight, but it is what it is....

Losing Patrick isn't a death sentence. This staff is long on "recruiters" and short on guys who can actually teach the game. If Blakeney comes back, then there is still enough on the team to compete in the SEC next season. However, that's only if Jones is willing to turn over the lion's share of the teaching and scouting to other coaches. And that doesn't mean guys who have been irrelevant for 25 years (Shur). If Jones wants to stay at LSU, he has to make significant upgrades on the bench to make up for his deficiencies.
