We will win all our games against the top half of the SEC but we will somehow stupidly lose to a bottom 4 team.

No doubt. LSU basketball is so predictable. We will go undefeated in The SEc and then lose first game of NCAA tourney. I guarantee one thing for this team, no matter what happens, they will disappoint in the end.

This has been our M.O. under Johnny, and it likely plays out that way again this year.
We are motivated to do the things we should against better teams, but not so much the teams with lesser talent. Like Missouri, Auburn (twice) and Tenessee at home last year.

yea, no kidding. A couple good wins and the pumpers have us going 18-0. Good lord.
Let's see how we respond over the next few games. These two wins were nice, but it's a long SEC season. Can we maintain the intensity when we play lesser competition? I'll hopeful, but not convinced. It's easy to get up for Kentucky - far less so for most other conference teams.
But let's all pump the brakes a bit. 2-0 is great, but there's 16 to go.

We won't go 18 and 0 in the SEC. We have the talent to do so. In fact, I think we have the talent to beat any team in the NCAA on a given night. Problem is when we half arse it, we can't even beat College of Charleston.....We give up over 100 to Houston.....things we just cannot do. I can't believe we have lost the 5 games we have to the teams we lost them too. But....if we play like the last 2 games, we are really tough to beat.

I consider myself a realist. If we were to beat UK twice, Vandy, Florida, aTm twice, but lose a game or two to a Miss St or an Auburn that wouldn't be the end of the world at all.

I think we will still finish top 4. I just don't see us beating tamu. They are a matchup nightmare for us imo. Depending how we play 12-6 and 15-3 are the realm of possibilities imo. But are sec schedule is pretty tough imo

If we are anywhere near a bubble team we are getting in. They will want to see Ben Simmons in the Tourny. JMO
