At least we showed some signs of life on offense yesterday.

The encouraging thing is we don't have tons of strikeouts
Many outs are ground balls, especially Bregman
Some of his ground balls will find holes
Some will turn into liners
We showed lots of life at the plate yesterday
And I was glad to see that we even scored three runs in the ninth.
The way college baseball is today, it feels like once your down four runs it's over.

Choup, the eternal optimist

You know why I'm the optimist? Little league baseball has me busy every weekend and I'm not involved much during the in game threads (even though I caught the last 10 innings or so Saturday night). I catch 1-2 innings of the Saturday and Sunday games most weekends. I'm just as frustrated as the Tiger fan, but the reality is this...

There's not a single thing I can do about it.

So all I can say is

Im pretty confident in our ability to win at home, and the good news is we have a few o those games coming up. However, if we cant go at least 4-2 in the next six sec games, ill lose alot of confidence in this team

Agree. Need the following for the next two weeks:

Win vs. McNeese
2/3 vs. Miss State
Win vs. Lamar
2/3 vs. Arkansas

That would put us at 27-10-1 overall, 7-7-1 in SEC. That is good for a top 10-15 ranking. Must hold serve at home.
