The next two weeks are critical for this baseball team
nah. teams progress at their own rate during the season. the teams at the top sometimes are just "ahead" and kinda slow their improvement down by not having a sense of urgency. this team has the potential to be a LOT better at season's end than now at the beginning. What is critical is avoiding injuries to key players, esp Nola.

Offense will continue to hold this team back.
No power. Other schools are hitting homeruns.
Awful tough road test for pitching in SEC.
Vandy with all that pitching will probably still flame out in regional play. Corbin has done nothing of significance with all that talent.

ULL hit 7 yesterday, but the wind was blowing pretty hard out.

Well I was talking mostly about SEC schools. Only 4 SEC teams have hit more than us.

Why is Z.Person not in the mix for a starting role? Seems like they use him more in a set-up or closer role. Was a starting pitcher last year in D2, so his arm should be able to handle extended outings? Just wondering...

He may be someone they look at if our #2 and #3 guys continue to struggle. They may think he's more useful right now being able to pitch more than once in a weekend.
