LSU was smart to move the game up to 1:00. This gives them flexibility to keep moving the game back if they need to.

In that case, should have moved it up to 11. It's been projected to start raining at 3 for the past few days.

It will start raining by 11. If the game is played today, it will be this evening. There is a solid shield of rain that will last about 3 or 4 hours and more behind that.

Yeah methinks we'll play 2 tomorrow or 1 tonight. Don't quite understand why this one was moved up to 1. Maybe I'm missing something

According to the AccuWeather radar it just started raining at the Box, although it is showing up as light green so it may be evaporating before it reaches the ground.

They moved it up because now they essentially have all afternoon and night to play the game. They just bought themselves more time.

I guess I just don't see the logic. We knew the weather was going to start late-morning, early afternoon

This first band of light rain should be through the campus by 1-1:15pm. If no big band develops behind it this morning, it might leave us 3-4 hours of no thunder to get a game in...maybe.

Yeah and it looks like we're supposed to have heavier stuff into the night and overnight. Starting to understand the move. A little slow today

Rain is breaking up some as it moves NE. So there is hope to get it in later this afternoon.

Gates to @AlexBoxStadium are open and batting practice has started on the field despite a light drizzle. First pitch slated for 1 p.m. CT.
