LSU Players Named to Summer League Top Proscpect List

Not mentioned in that write up is that Hal Hughes was the defensive MVP of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League.

Also, here is an interview with Mainieri from USA Today about recruiting: LINK

Feduccia, a transfer from LSU-Eunice who was named a Northwoods League All-Star, was Watson’s teammate in Rockford and batted .348 (64-for-184) with 18 doubles, one triple, 41 RBI and 43 runs.

Webre, a Youngsville, La., product, excelled this summer for the Danville (Ill.) Dans in the Prospect League, hitting .324 (58-for-179) with nine doubles, nine homers, 40 RBI, 47 runs and 20 stolen bases.

He was my favorite player in the class. I think he's going to be a very good player for us.

Excited to see this team play, think we will be young and we will need to shore up the backend of the bullpen to be successful.

No, don't remind me of baseball ..... where we overworked our star freshman and ruined his arm losing him for the Series

His arm injury started years before he ever stepped on LSU's campus. Don't be ignorant.

I'm sure being a QB in HS had nothing to do with his injury either...
