I sometimes find myself traveling on weekends during the fall, but always make it a point to find out where the game is going to be shown. Generally I try to find out if there's a designated LSU bar for the game. Some places (NY, Atlanta, etc) are easier than others, and with LSU's following I almost always find whatever bar I'm in, there's at least a few other tiger fans.

Chicken, or any other admin, is there a way we could get a listings page/thread going with locations LSU (Alum or otherwise) people are going to be for the game in some of the major cities around the country. Or perhaps known "LSU bars?" I looked around the site and didn't find anything like this yet.

I just moved to the Bay Area a couple of days ago, and I went to the Bay Area alumni viewing, which seems to rotate to a new place each week, and it lacked the gathering/intensity of some of the other places I've been. (No sound, no chants, no one playing band recordings) Maybe if we get a dedicated page where it's easy for any tiger fan to figure out where to go, it would help.

This is something that needs to be done...what would help is if each alumni group would post where they are watching, and then we can add the cities not included...

This is where we meet in Las Vegas, about 15 minutes from the Strip. They feature all LSU games on a large screen TV and Abita on tap.

Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg Tennessee Sucked showing the game, they didn't show the game at all, i stopped by Crawdaddy's, Puckers, Hard Rock Cafe, and Corky's Ribs and BBQ they didn't have ESPNU, only had ESPN, and ESPN2.. Pitful.

This week I'm in Washington, DC and I will have better results.

San Diego Area-
Kristy's MVP,Point Loma. Half of the bar/resturant is reserved for LSU fans. Former Tiger and San Diego Charger is always there sitting right under his LSU jersey they have hanging from the rafters.

I was talking to a guy in SF who previously lived in San Diego, and he said the LSU group there started going to a bar right when it opened, and in return for helping the bar do so well, the bar keeps a room all decked out in P&G and even has a mini-field painted complete with the eye of the tiger. Any idea where this is?

Legends in NYC. Although, I have to say that it kind of sucks. Not a good atmosphere. It's a reserve a table and clap politely type of atmosphere, which is not as much fun as past venues.

For reals. It's somewhere in Belltown. Google Fuel Seattle. If you're on Facebook search Seattle Tigers. I'd come drink with you in Tacoma but that ain't no where near my house (Carneypatch).

Welcome to SF Owaho.

The normal bar is Harrington's. They just had it at the pub in Fisherman's Wharf yesterday b/c Harrington's had a previous event reserved.

The SF alum group just switched to Harrington's as the view in bar 2 weeks ago. I believe it will be somewhere else for the Tulane game also.

I was in So Cal Saturday, and Seattle the week before, so I have yet to see how the new bar is in SF. The SF group is a little bit older...the young professionals usually transplant to ATL, HOU, Dallas, NYC so unfortunately not as rowdy.

There is an unoffical LSU bar with younger folk in the Marina District, Kelly's Tavern on Filmore/Lombard (they have LSU flags flying) but the alumni association refuses to associate with that bar because of some drama.

Stinking bar I was in, in West Hollywood was filled with USC fans yesterday. Hated to see them pull off the win last night...and hear Fight On played over and over on the speakers.

I've got a ton of Ohio St. buddies in SF, and it was funny reading the facebook statuses today. They are starting to turn on Tressel. It must suck for them though....0-7 vs the Top 10 in the last 7 tries....cant beat a rebuilding USC and a freshman QB has a 90+ yd drive in your own house. They are destined to not win a big game for awhile it seems like if they couldn't beat USC with a frosh QB and Taylor Mays injured.

In Austin, TX there's 2 places but one with more LSU fans

SHoal Creek Saloon (it has a huge Saints helmet on the roof/entrance area) on Lamar i think. A huge portion of LSU fans geaux there and the bar down the road from it (I forgot what it's called)
