LSU band had a great halftime show

With all of the unkind posts going around about the band, everyone will be happy to know that they lifted lots of spirits last weekend with their halftime show. Link to vid below...and on FB it's been viewed about 450,000 times. WTG band!!

It was a great halftime show but good God we need to get our band numbers up. The JSU band almost dwarfed LSU when they got out there and sounded almost twice as loud.

The JSU band did dwarf LSU's. According to the Cock fans sitting in front of me, they take band pretty seriously up there. They said it's just as much of a marketing tool for the school as football.

I don't think that's unexpected bc they have a different style of band with like 500 members, vs ours being set no larger than 325ish. It's down a little this year but only to 305 as I understand it. It won't be hard to get back up 20 more members next year with shows like last weekend's.

The music and playing is good as always. Though nothing that hasn't been done before but man I haven't seen that much creativity from the drill in a tigerband show in a long time. Also I love how they march through every single song. Recently when they played calling Baton Rouge and amazing grace they were standstill tunes. That was one of my biggest complaints with Roy how they would waste a whole tune standing still and pass it off as a dance feature. I hope that continues. Great show
