LSU Athletic Department Posts $12MM profit with football leading the way with $40-55MM profit
I figured I'd post this here. I know academics decry the amount of money and attention lavished on athletic departments at universities, but there are only a handful of Athletic Departments that are not subsidized by the affiliated university, and we have one of them.
I wish our Alumni donated more to academics, but that's their money and they can do with it as they please.

Win championships and you get free national exposure. Out of state tuition will skyrocket and the academic side will win as well. It shows how short sited F King really is.
