How is that a slight on the image of Les Miles or the university?

I never said it was. I said his discipline problems while under Miles can not be ignored just because he wasn't arrested while playing for LSU. Then commented I don't think Miles treated that situation badly.

Kicking Mathieu off the team is not a discipline problem is is a discipline solution

It's obvious we need to stop recruiting players that have first names that start with the letter "J".

Are the numbers as favorable if we go back 5 years? 10?

I have no idea, just curious...

What I think he is trying to say is that the media perception of us is this thug school because our stuff is blasted everywhere as soon as it happens. And he is correct but this is the media's doing. Nobody brings up Maziel's arrest before his heisman season (like they constantly did with JJ all year even 6 games after he returned). Mackey nor Wallace's was blasted all over ESPN, 2 of the 3 starting recievers for Auburn and 1-2 back Mcalleb wasn't all over the airways. Nor starter and first rounder Elam or top returning corner in SEC Purifoy. Not starting QB Hartline for UK or starting 1st round star NFL rookie safety for Bama, Mark Barron. It seems more like they have it out for LSU.

constant Mathieu thing(when he wasn't even on the team in 2012) all year long.
Jeremy Hill for a punch
Alfred Blue for saying sissy

They blow our stuff out of proportion, but these guys are arm robbery criminals, selling drugs. etc.

Manziel was charged with 3 misdemeanors, one being disorderly conduct because he was involved in a fight during the summer before the damn season started. This guy is looked as "oh he's living the college life and partying and etc" Hill goes out "just like Manziel, I know, shocking" and some guy instigates a fight with him and now people are talking suspension because he hit him? Manziel is seen as the rockstar while Hill is seen as the thugPOS. The guy got charged and probation in high school because he got head from a freshman, are you serious? Did yall not see the story a few months back about 20 or so guy from freshman to senior high school guys who got arrested and charged with child porn because a group of high school girls (same age) sent them naked picks? The girls were not initially charged and I still don't know if they will be.

So even though Miles kicked TM7 off the team; which eliminated any and all influence or control CLM or LSU had over him, According to you CLM and LSU are still responsible for the dumb arse decisions this immature kid made? I'm not sure but I think this could be the most intellectually vacant statement I've heard in my life. It's like saying a manager at a business fired a dumb arse employee for stealing and a week later he steals from another business and you blame his original boss.

WTF IS WRONG WITH SOME PEOPLE???

To not include the Mathieu drama in a discussion about Miles and his control over the team because he wasn't on the team when he got arrested is just turning a blind eye to something very obvious

Please tell me how in the hell CLM was supposed to control what decisions a 20+ year old man made when he had absolutely ZERO control / influence or ability to affect any part of his life once he made the call to remove him from the football team??? You have either talked yourself into a corner and realize it and refuse to admit you are wrong or you are just plain stupid? Please be honest and let us know which one applies so we will know for future reference.

I agree completely but Mr 4444 seems to think not including tm7 is wrong since at one time he played at LSU therefore for the rest of his life any transgressions he commits CLM & LSU are responsible for. And it appears almost everyone else sees how massively flawed his argument is but he refuses to just own up to the absurdity of it?? Since I haven't been able to read every post - maybe there are a couple of other posters that agree with 4444 but I'm not sure how that's possible considering how wrong it happens to be.

Don't get around these parts much and pardon the question but do you own the record for longest time with the least post?

Idiot, the principle is the same...Matthieu was a discipline problem on the team. Isn't that the crux of the matter? The issue is disciplinary problems and TM7 had 10 failed drug tests and then was kicked from the team. That definitely shows disciplinary problems.

Does the number of arrests have any correlation to overall talent for a program?

Only one possible conclusion can be drawn..... we are a thugified conference where thugification runs rampant.
