Tenn is certainly a traditional power but the past 20 years Florida has consistently been stronger. Even when Fulmer was there UF was tougher.

They're in Miami because we gifted them a win in a game we dominated. Bottom line is if we win that game, they don't go this year. They beat us and Georgia, lost a close game to a good A&M team, and destroyed every other team they played.

Scheduling might suck, but LSU had their chance and they blew it. Even if we didn't have Florida on our schedule this year Bama would still be going over us.

You're still ignoring the fact that we had to get "up" for four conference games against legit teams (Bama, UF, USCe, UF) while they got to fricking coast. It takes a mental and physical toll when you actually have to play legit competition.

We had to go 3-1 to get to the same SECCG that they had to go 1-1 to get to. This is what it boils down to once you throw out all the dogshit teams that don't matter.

Why did the SEC give LSU UGA and Bama UK next year when both were scheduled to play UGA?

UGA and Bama are two of the biggest proponents of permanent opponents

but with that even said SBC, the advantage is not that great.

you don't think it is a huge advantage FOR NEXT SEASON that Bama plays UT and UK while LSU plays @UGA and Florida? The bridge season has absolutely nothing to do with previous scheduling according to the SEC

I understand that. That said, look at our schedules and their schedules for last year, this year, and next year. Just 3 seasons.

They are almost polar opposites.

I'm not taking shots at you, I'm not, just frustrated and annoyed with the crap in scheduling.

Just wanted to tell you that in case you thought I was "hollering" at you. That isn't the case.

Anyway, the schedules are nowhere near equitable and they certainly aren't tweaked enough to where someone (with a halfway functioning brain) can sit back and say, "well I guess this is the closest we can get to having these schedules equitable."

They aren't even in the same neighborhood.

why do you ignore the SEC giving Bama UK when they were scheduled to play UGA next season? You don't think that is favoritism?

they redid the schedule the last 2 seasons and they gave Alabama a huge advantage. did they not?

UGA was scheduled to play Alabama and LSU. The SEC office decided to give Bama-UK and LSU-UGA despite our protests about permanent opponents and its unfairness.

That isn't nitpicking, that is a legitimate reason to be upset. Hard to not call the SEC biased when a Bama graduate was in charge of it

Hell, Florida did go 3-1 and UGa went Bama's 1-1 and they got locked out of the SECCG. It's not just going 3-1, but the RIGHT 3-1. I've always liked playing Florida, but if its just going to be an excuse to screw us, then forget this.

Sorry but I'm not willing to wait another 10 years before they get to the equitable schedule again. I doubt anyone else is either, save Bama fans.

South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier couldn’t resist noting that the two teams in the SEC Championship game enjoyed favorable regular-season schedules.

“Alabama had the easiest schedule in the West division side, and Georgia had the easiest on our side,” Spurrier told The State newspaper of Columbia, S.C., on Monday. “I find it very interesting, and I haven’t seen anybody really write about (it).

“Before the season started, you would say these guys have the favorable schedule(s). I guess that’s just the way life is sometimes.”

are there fans complaining about the past 13 seasons?...I've only seen references to this season and next, both of which were just made, not the product of a set rotation

Because it's true. And nothing's getting done about it. That's why you hear it all the time.
