I hope so because if people don't care about getting shite faced drunk anymore I'd assume we could get more noon games.

You want more noon games?

I know, it was just the meeting place for me growing up pre-cell phones. "Everyone meet at the airplane at 2"

Thought that was implied, my bad.

Yes....I'd like to have some day left after the game to get shite done and do shite with my family. I've been that way for a few years now.

Imagine all the shite you could get done if you didn't waste 3 hours sitting in the stadium.

Unless your family was all born in the 1880s, LSU football came first. Priorities, dude

not a problem...I'm enough of a dinosaur to remember when regular people could park in South Stadium Parking...and the plane was surrounded by grass...

all of that being said, before South Stadium expansion, the area behind South Stadium would have been a good location for a beer garden outside the stadium but set up in such a way where you could go back inside...there isn't enough space anywhere else to do it without having it in the stadium proper now...

and getting on my soapbox one more time, tearing down the South Stadium dorms wouldn't hurt the exterior view of Tiger Stadium...demolition of East and West Stadium dorms bring up an entirely different set of issues

What purpose is there to sit out in the heat of the day if people aren't going to get drunk they are just going to wait to drink in the stadium as Mr. Caterpillar suggests?

Unless we are saying that people are still going to insist on night games (6pm) and not get to campus until 3pm.

I'll now go back to my original point....much to my chagrin I don't think selling alcohol in the stadium is going to change much if anything about LSU's tailgating culture or the time that people expect games to start. People are still going to demand that the game time allow them go out at 8AM and binge drink all day until they can barely walk to the stadium. Some study done in freaking Green Bay, Wisconsin (don't know if this is where it was conducted don't care just an example) won't change my mind on that.

We love the game...we just don't love the drunk asses after the game, the traffic after the game, and getting home at closer to the arse crack of dawn than bedtime.

So if it's all the same to you I'll keep going and dealing with it....and holding out hope that people come to their senses sooner or later....doubtful on that though.

There's a beer garden at Husky Stadium. Only open pregame and at halftime. It's lame.

Also, a point to consider....I wonder how many other hooligans will take this option. I imagine it is more than any study accounted for....although I'd still buy that less people will bring alcohol in when alcohol is actually sold at the stadium.

If LSU does this then they've wasted their money putting one in. Stupid.

First off, frick you Mr nose in the air.

The people bringing in liquor already will still do it. I bring in what equates to over $100 worth of drinks in a bar. shite probably $200 in an overpriced stadium. I'm not hiking to a beer booth to stand in line for 30 minutes, miss a quarter of the game, pay $12 for some shitty beer, and be done with the beer 5 minutes after I return to my seats.

Beer sales in Alex Box would be more appropriate. There's something wrong when you can't enjoy a beer and a hot dog while watching a baseball game. Just sayin.
