well the "Special Olympics" is already being used. how bout the fricktard bowl would look good on a t-shirt or,, the "Lets be honest we'd all rather be going to school in Austin bowl" would have to be a large t-shirt but most of you are fat so no prob

Here's a question for you, what comes out of a chinaman's arse?

a company was giving me free reign on designing a t shirt for the tailgate and I'm just looking for some good ideas. Personally I suck at coming up with good slogans ( ) so I figured this would be the best possible way to get a bunch of ideas.

Yes, I know. And at the bottom, I wanted to let you know that it's a good idea.

However, a company is giving you free reign on something that, in my opinion, needs a little bit more MOMENTUM.

Is LSU/ATM a good rivalry? SURE! Has it been going on year in, year out for even 25 years? No.

So the t shirts you are making, will describe this huge game, without anything but a scheduling date. ......so far, that's why I say, let time and tradition give you a better idea.

When Alabama ducked out on ATM back in 88 or 89 (can't remember) due to a Hurricane and Bill Curry said 'no go.', The ATM fans made a shirt and sold the shite out of it....It said,

quote:

"Alabama vs ATM, the Hurricane Bowl. We were here, where were you?"

But there was no hurricane or ducking out.....just a scheduled game.

I understand, you are given the keys to designing a shirt.....NOW.....a shirt that I hope you sell a lot of, if you are allowed to.

Just to quote myself from the SECr...

quote:

I say it should be called "Chaos"...

Cajun + Tejas = Chaos

It's catchy, unique, easy to advertise...

Furthermore, the tailgaters should do their best to combine Cajun cuisine with Tex-Mex into new awesomeness...

Back in the day, I saw someone had taken the A&M logo and added e's to each end. It went from:

ATM (the T is taller than the A and M)

to

eATMe

did it look like this?

The obvious answer here is that each school is the SEC's representative for their entire state. So not only is it a play on geography, but it also plays well into each school's military tradition.

Texas - 624 mi of coastline
Louisiana - 367 mi of coastline ( probably more if you considered actual shoreline)

Together over half of the coastline of the Gulf of Mexico
I think gulf war works.
I don't think Austin or Norman are on the red river.
It's called marketing, try it sometime.

A name isn't important, but Gulf War is a really good one.

Because of our military traditions, this may be the winner.
