I honestly have no idea what to expect tonight. Obviously we can play with anyone when we want to, but we've seen the opposite end of that far too many times.

I'm hoping that revenge against Auburn and the motivation of making the NCAA tournament will help us play well, but I don't know if it actually will.

Well if motivation for making the tourney didnt help before now, I am not sure it will matter going forward.

I definitely think the motivation is there. And knowing that they lost to this team at home has to make them realize they cannot sleepwalk through this one and win.

Come out with a lot of energy, especially on the defensive end, and it should trickle over to offense.

One would hope. But I've stopped speculating on things like this with this team. They defy logic more than I can really handle. Just going to watch the game without any expectations.

Takes a bold person to predict LSU to win or lose. I expect it will be close

Bottom line, if Bridgewater is playing significant minutes that means Mickey and/or Martin aren't.

I think playing all 3 of them at times would be an interesting option. Bridgewater and Martin can stretch the floor with the jumpers if need be.

I agree that I like the idea of all three on the floor. I have been pleasantly surprised with Bridgewater's midrange shot. He has looked fluid and certainly isn't afraid to take a shot given an open look. As crazy as it sounds, in this one he could play 5 with Martin at 3 and Mickey at 4. I like that set defensively.

The last thing I want is Cinmeon Bowers being guarded one on one by Mickey.... Bowers is just too big to be contained by Mickey's less than large frame.

Bridgewater played more on the perimeter in high school than he did down low. It doesnt make much sense considering he could easily dominated down there, but he would still linger around 15-20 feet constantly.

Granted he does have a smooth shot.

I predict a 73-70 LSU win. Lots of mistakes. Lethargic play from Martin. Mickey has one of his better games. Lsu gets it done in a close one.

Sadly that's where this team has driven me to,just too inconsistent.

I agree that Mickey on Bowers is a bad move in the low post, but Bowers shows excellent quickness for a guy his size. As long as Mickey's ankle holds up (which I believe he injured in that Auburn game?), he can keep up with him. More than anything, we need to be faster on the help defense once we identify who is hot.

Yea no way they lose by 10+ IMO. They could lose or they could win by 20+ but no way they get blown out.

A 1 point loss or a 20 point loss. It doesn't matter. IF LSU losses tonight they are OUT of any tourney hopes...........
