I'll be visiting a friend in Missouri and taking in the game at Memorial Stadium on Oct 7th.
Has anyone been to a game there? What was your experience?
ETA: I do plan to stop at Lambert's on the drive up and get a roll throwed at me!

All I know is that they made that weekend their “family weekend” for students and if you don’t have a hotel or AirBnb yet, good luck.

I’ve heard Columbia is actually a pretty cool college town. It gets lost in the shuffle of the big SEC due to mizzou never really fielding a great team.
Should be a good time and I’d expect a ton of LSU fans to be there.

I've been there twice for LSU softball (super regionals & just a weekend) and yes, there's several nice places downtown, plus all of the normal chain restaurants.

Live in Omaha now and made the drive down in 2020 when the game got moved from a hurricane. Obviously the crowd was sparse due to Covid and the last minute location change but it’s a nice little college town and the fans were cool. Not obnoxious after the upset and super welcoming.

Went in 2020 and even with all the COVID restrictions, I still had a great time.

I currently live about an hour from Mizzou. Don't expect the LSU tailgating experience or Tiger Stadium, but you will enjoy it. The people here are great and Columbia is a nice/fun town.

A ton of them came to BR in 2016, they were nice and normal. Had a big “just glad to be here” attitude. Not that entitled a-hole attitude that you get with some traditional SEC fans like Bama Georgia Tennessee and Florida.

Good question. If you look at Mizou map it reads 101 is visitors but I see LSU people selling 116 which is the opposite corner on home side
