Plus State could of lost 2 of their starting lineman. Their center Mullen said is a may be for Thursday and their starting Left Gaurd could be out as well and his replacement is a redshirt freshman.

LSU has also had much more time to prepare for state. State didn't have the luxury to prepare for LSU with play auburn Saturday.

We did fine against them with a smaller D line last season.

We're quicker and have a little more bulk this year.

They haven't stopped anyone yet on defense , giving up 34 and 38 points in 2 games....
AS you know you must play DEFENSE in the sec to win games.
just saying...

Yeah, without Lee we have no passing game. Oh wait. Nothing changes.

I assume we won't find out about their status until around the game.

if you are so sure, pony up. There was a post from a guy who was giving State Penn 23.5 who thought it was easy pickings. I explain before the game, that Saban could get out of town with a 21 point win and the poster would be empty handed.

Who is the moron? I got bama at -9.5 @psu.

Don't know if you're being sarcastic but Auburn did win a national championship last season solely with offense. Just saying.

This game concerns me for several reasons.

1. MSU is at home.

2. Vick Ballard, Reif, and the OL can run the ball effiecently and take time off the clock.

3. MSU cannot afford to go 0-2 against the league and should be pumped up to play #2 LSU.

4. MSU probably stacks the box and forces JL to beat them through the air. LSU is not playing finese Oregon DL or NW state.

5. Short week for both teams.

6. Tigers could be overlooking MSU and be thinking about WVU.

I think LSU wins by 3, 23-20. Take MSU and the points.

yeah ... I'm thinking the same thing. Close game, very physical ... possible late FG for the win.

MSU is coming off a tough, physical game on the road. They lost 2 O-lineman. Short week.

LSU rolls

1. not much of a travel, not concerned about playing in starkville.
2. that would play into lsu's style of play
3. msu will have to deal with it. im sure they couldnt afford to go 0-2 against the sec before.. but did that stop them from it? (lsu has miss st #)
4. it doesn't matter, LSU is more talented at every position on the field outside of qb.
5. short weak favors LSU considering miss st just went into a war all 4 quarters with an sec opponent.. while lsu should be sharp and fresher.
6. all i have heard all off-season and now season is how miss st is going to beat lsu.. and oh lsu should be so concerned. this is one of the most focused teams ever. i doubt they are over-looking THEIR FIRST SEC OPPONENT.. HELLO!?

LSU will be jacked for this game and coaching will have them well-prepared and the talent will shine! Tigers prevail. Man it is bad enough hearing it from Miss st fans, but now so many LSU fans under-estimating their own team.. that really bothers me. I expect LSU victory!
