Yet there are for some reason tons of people that listen to the broadcast religiously. Always blows my mind.

True

Plus I think he realizes Hawthorne is getting a little senile.

Also, if ESPN3 ends up not having it, you can go to ragincajuns.com and find the video link... I think they have a 24 hour subscription option that allows you to watch the game for like $6.99 or something.

I'm sure the feed will be dreadful but its better than nothing.

absolutely

charlie is like listening to a knowledgable fan who tries his best to be objective.

Hawthorne comes off as a Mr. Magoo, luddite type and listening to the middle innings with him dropping a line of "analysis" in between plays is just laughably bad

As far as the game of baseball, Charlie is way better at BPB . But Hawthorne's voice just gets me so fired up when something good happens I'd hate to see him go.

he's constantly saying outside when a pitch was in on a batters hands

I notice this a lot. He'll say high and outside when it was just off the corner and in the strike zone.

I can still hear him screaming Jack Hunt at the Bluegrass Miracle like it was yesterday. Music to my ears.

he called ibarra's 9th inning homer against BYU very well. i didnt hear it live because i was at the park but when i watched the highlighs i was impressed. unfortunately his good moments are few and far between these days.

I like Hanagriff as much as the next guy, and he's pretty good at normal baseball play by play, but he was calling the game when Ross hit a HR against Maryland and he sounded awkward as hell when he got excited. Hawthorn is at his best when it comes to big calls, even with the errors.
