But until Les shirks the ghosts of '08 and builds the offense around the skill-set of the QB what's going to change? It would be refreshing to see the other team more afraid of our passing game than Les is.

And how exactly does he build the offense to fit these skill sets?

You have to be able to run the ball and stop the run to win. This is no secret.

Russell and Flynn 2?? We got some talented recruits at qb coming in. And I wouldn't count Scott out. He put up rediculous numbers against top HS talent in the state. Brains is better than brawn most of the time. I'm very confident Ppl will be singing Cameron's praises pretty early on this season. He hasnt had talent like this since his first season in BR. We will have the best offense in the west. Book it.

People give up on players too easily if they don't play rt away.

shite people were saying Fournette was a bust his freshman year. That's fricking crazy.

Oh I'm not predicting his future or debating the play calling or anything once he gets on campus. I was just stating this guy is for real. Seeing him in person, literally 20 feet away from me, he was impressive to watch yesterday. Yes, no pass rush, no blitzes, but 4 seconds to throw and bad weather conditions, and he stood out far above anything g else out there.

I don't see them telling him to transfer when they are about to lose 2 qb's the year after

I just don't see him burning two more years sitting the bench for a chance to compete with 3 other younger quarterbacks.

in the same way I predicted Ben Simmons would not be a good shooter before I ever saw him play.

What kind of logic is this?

This has been discussed ad nauseam but just a couple of (counter-)examples to refresh everyone's memory:
1) JJ running short-side option plays
2) Mett running option plays period

I'm a skeptic at this point. On one hand I think we have the talent to run the table. On the other, until I see it on Sat nights, all of this just rings hollow.

Isn't this about the same thing we heard about Brandon Harris?

OK

Why ?

As I previously stated the other qb's are better and Narcisse will pass him up when he gets on campus

Not sure how that's relevant to the discussion

No I'm saying he doesn't have the physical ability to play in front of the other players currently on the roster or the players that are currently committed

Just curious, what do you base your opinion on? If you are going to say the kid doesn't have the ability to compete, you need to really cover your bases. Otherwise, you risk coming off as a troll.

You predicted that because you're a negative douchebag.
Had nothing to do with being left handed.

The fact that I've seen him play since he was a sophomore in high school.
I'm not saying the kid doesn't have great work ethic and wasn't amazing in high school. I'm saying that in college he will get passed up at the qb position.
Narcisse is on another level when it comes the to ability and there is not a difference in their football IQ.

You have opened a can of worms. Ok, you've seen him play for three year. I assume you have a kid on the team or something.

So you've seen him play and never get shut down, but you say he can't make it.

I'm asking you what kind of wealth of knowledge of personal interaction with d1 qbs you've had to determine he won't make it.

Sounds to me like you don't have much experience to truly form an opinion from. Got any technical observations about his play? Or are you just hung up on height?
