It's just the opposite and often stated on 1420. You see less LSU fans cause you are surrounding yourself with those miserable Cajun fans who worry about someone wearing a purple shirt in their stadiums more than losing on the field. Cajuns are dominating the Acadiana area? :WAT:

I don't see that. In the city, it's 50/50. Away from the city, LSU is first and UL-L second. Of course, I don't know how official any of these rankings really are.

Maybe the better question you should ask yourself is why you as a Cajun fan absolutely have to hate LSU and see them as a rival? You see, it's not that LSU fans and alumni scratch our heads at someone in the state not pulling exclusively for LSU. It's that you can't see it for what it is - you attended a smaller regional school. There is no need to hate LSU as though you're an Ole Miss or a Bama fan. Being impartial towards LSU, ok fine. I'm good with that. But straight up hating LSU? Just seems petty, juvenile, and is so obviously based on little brother syndrome.
I think Cajun fans would get a lot more respect if you would stop the silly shite (like the OP pointed out) and just be cool about it.

There has not been a university referred to as USL since 1999. Look it up sometime. And your "penis envy" comment has no effect on me. I have degrees from both ULL and LSU, but nice try. Did you even go to LSU?

As a matter a fact I did. I'm from Lafayette and went to both USL and LSU.
So I know all too well the anti LSU mindset in Lafayette and at USL.
