Makes me proud to be a Tiger.

quote:

"I enjoyed my visit last semester, so I wanted to come again," Loston said. "I enjoy seeing smiles on the kids' faces even though they might be hurting and in a lot of pain. They always find a way to smile when we come in the room, and I like being a part of that."

Every team gets hit hard for the bad shite that happens, but not enough credit where it is due.

Mingo and Loston. bow:

Along with them was a wagon full of LSU gear, including t-shirts, hats, water bottles, pom-poms and Mike the Tiger bobble heads. They ensured that every patient would receive at least one signed item from both of them.

Heck, that would brighten anyone's day!

True Tigers! I love hearing about these things from our guys.

According to the woman who runs the program that carries this sort of stuff out, a lot of the players will come back on their own free time to visit the kids every now and then.

Saw a pic on Facebook of Loston pulling Mingo in the wagon, handing out shirts.

Mingo is my top 3 players on the team. Dude is all class seems like a very bright young man. If I had to pick a spokesperson for the team it would definitely be him. Big ups to him and Loston.

Good stuff.

Nice to see athletes in a positive light instead of
the usual grind of DUI/Sexual Battery etc. stories.
