But 10 wins isn’t guaranteed. Never was. Thats a very good season win wise. Hardware should be our driving factor though and
Not wins. 8 wins is the bare minimum set here by saban and miles.

He’s got 4 now. Especially if we go 10-3 after the bowl.

Preseason expectations are meaningless right now. We're in the middle of the season and should be undefeated if not for 2 compete cluster fricks of games.

Are we really going to be harping on preseason expectations when we've won 2 games everyone thought in preseason we'd lose?

Either NO SEC team in playoff or like 2011 BAMA sits at home, Saban plays the best team goes, and BAMA goes to playoff.

If we finish with only three losses after losing to troy this year I will be Damn happy. These guys have really turned it around and I am very proud of the Tigers right now.

And your expectations of where we should be are meaningless too, dipshit. Wtf kind of logic are you using right now? Rational preseason expectations don't count now that we're in the season and the highly intelligent TH03 on tigerdroppings decided that we should've won all of the games that we've won in addition to the 2 shitty games that we dropped?

We've lost games that we shouldn't have lost this season and we've won games that we shouldn't have won, too. We're on par with rational expectations. I know that a raging rantard such as yourself probably can't understand that and all but the team is looking good and trending upward after a rocky start, as you'd expect with a new coach. No one should be anything but optimistic right now with the way our team shook off a potentially disasterous season

Feels like Les Miles. And he was fired.

Coach o has done a masterful job of immediately lowering the expectations from the fanbase and then immediately beating those expectations.

He gets rewarded for nearly detailing the train but saving it at the last minute.

You're clearly too emotional for rational discussion. Move along.

At 9-3 I would be happy with the improvement through the season and optimistic about next year, but disappointed in the poor job of preparation that resulted in the inexcusable blowout in Starkville and the loss to Troy which would likely cause us to miss out on a NY6 bowl.

Since 2011, I focus on the whole-season experience...10-3 is enough quality football and enjoyment of wins to be worth my season ticket $, so I am good with that.

fans of any particular team are lucky to get one or two national championships in a lifetime, so if that is the only thing that you enjoy, you are going to have a very disappointing lifetime.

Yep, definitely. And you're too stupid for rational discussion bud. I'm not the one sitting here trying to explain to everyone that my personal feelings of how the season should've played out are the most important so everyone else's opinions are null and void because we're not 11-1 like we should be in your alternate reality. No one with a functioning brain expected us to be 11-1 going into this season, get over it and stop having a crybaby outburst because people are calling you out on your idiotic self centered "look at me" thread

I never said anything about my opinion superceding anyone else's.

Again, you're being super emotional and hurling personal attacks when I'm simply trying to have a discussion.

Maybe it's just not your night, bud. We all get a little angry sometimes.

Feels like we still lost to Troy.

But I would be pleasantly surprised.

You're literally sitting here trying to explain that the vast majority of fans' opinions don't matter because "we should be 11-1". According to who exactly? You? We were supposed to lose to Florida and Auburn FYI. You took the time to start a bitching and moaning thread while the team is in the middle of a 3 game winning streak trending upwards and key pieces are falling together because our record doesn't look the way that you apparently think it should. I'm sure you have a lot to compensate for in the real world with your 50,000 posts on tigerdroppings but calling me "mad" doesn't make you any less of a moron. You must have a pretty awesome life if you're worried about coming across as a cool, laid back guy on a fricking anonymous internet college football forum btw

3 straight paragraph replies showing how incapable you are of realizing what opinions are and how they work so you resort to an endless list of personal attacks.

I asked a simple question to start a discussion. Again, maybe tonight just isn't your night, man. It's okay.

Nah, I want us to put the football big wigs in a tailspin. I know it won't happen, but imagine if LSU beat #1 Bama then faces an undefeated, likely #2 Georgia team in the SECCG and beats them.

What does the NCAA do about a 2 loss LSU that lost to Troy, but beat the #1 and #2 teams in the nation? It would be glorious.

Georgia and Bama make the playoffs with Penn State and USC.

Well since LSU was by far the best team in the country last year and lost a bunch of players who now start in the NFL it really sucks for idiots like you.

Players from last year who start in the NFL this year:
Jamal Adams @TheAdams_era 2014-16 NYJ S W6: Started.
Kendell Beckwith 2013-16 TAM LB W6: Started.
Leonard Fournette @_fournette 2014-16 JAX RB W6: Started.
Duke Riley @1Goal1Dream 2013-16 ATL LB W6: Started
Tre'Davious White @TreWhite16 2013-16 BUF CB W6: Bye but is a starter

Davon Godchaux - have seen where he is backing up Ndamukong Suh and have seen him listed as a starter opposite of Suh. Don't watch the Dolphins and don't know if he starts or not.

Others:
Ethan Pocic
Malachi Dupre
Travin Dural
Lewis Neal
Josh Boutte

A team losing all of those guys plus a few more and having to play 20+ freshmen really is undeniably an 11-1 or 12-0 team. LSU fans were ripped off. How can a team who lost 5 or 6 players who now start in the NFL not be 14-0 or 15-0? WTF???

Or is playing that many freshmen a sign of is how GOOD LSU will be in coming years ???
