Why was he playing at all, especially to start games? To wear down the defenses for the wimpy RBs behind him?

What are you bitching just to bitch? If Les said the sky was blue would you argue it was green? Holy frick, what did Ware do that was so terrible? When he was the workhorse back getting 22 + carries he had 99, 107, 109, 92 and 80 yards. After a terrible game in Bama1, his work load greatly diminished. 6-39 6.5, 10-70-7.0, 6-37 4.6, 6-13-2.2.

Against UGA he didn't start. Against OM he got the first 2 carries, both for 5 yds. Then Ford got a carry for 16 yds, back to Ware for 5. Hilliard got the 1 yd TD. 2nd drive was a run by JJ and a TD pass. 3rd drive Blue and Ford. Against Ark he had got the first 2 carries, for 2, then 8 yds. After that he didn't touch the ball until the 3rd. Again, whats the problem?

the run were he got away from the 6 wvu defenders was amazing, I remember mussberger and herbbie saying how great how a run, and that no normal back would have been able to do that

did no one read my freaking post

I stated that him playing baseball and football wore him out. You could see it in his play. He got worse and worse every game. Now that he is rested and just playing football he will be back better than ever. People wrote him off to quick. Plus all the great running backs we have they all have to step it up not to get left behind. This could possibly be the best 5 RB tandem ever in the history of college football.

I have a feeling he will be running like he did against Texas A&M

Disagree. Use Ware like you saw him used at the very end of his freshman year and he is a total hoss. His use was way too damn predictable last year. Basically ran like a fullback at times. He actually has good receiving skills out of the backfield.

playing baseball is probably the only thing that kept his weight under 260 for the first half of the year

We can beat everyone on the schedule running the ball except AL. To beat AL they will have to pass and run. LSU should develop the passing game to get ready for AL unlike last year when we weren't ready or able to pass.

Blue is our best all around back. Oh and lets not forget, magee and ford are hurt. So please tell me we have too many rbs rt now. Cus if the season started today we would really only have 3 ready to go. No one is switching positions.

It was amazing to see the amount of weight that he seemed to put on DURING the season last year.

A lighter spencer ware is a pretty good overall back. He is great at catching out of the back field.

Disagree. Hilliard looked way better than ware ever was.

Hilliard is a lot better, but whatever Miles decides will happen.

I like ware and Hilliard as our 1 2 punch... Ford can be in on passing downs and blue needs to BR moved to WR IMO

This I agree with, funny thing is we beat Bama in 2010 by passing the ball with Jefferson.

He had an impressive game v aTm. He was overhyped based on that game. He's a fine athlete but he doesn't possess breakaway speed or elusiveness. Hilliard is a better power back.

I really don't see a depth chart.....I could see there being a certain back for packages.

Ware- I back

Hillard - jumbo package

Blue - Gun / zone

Ford - Change of pace for both jumbo and I back
