Looking for game experiences from various seats in TS

As my first post, I want to say hello. I've been lurking here for a long time and have spent many an hour here to make the day go by. I'm a converted tiger fan coming from NY where college football is more of an annoyance on saturdays rather than an interest. I've been converted for sure. I moved down to Baton Rouge in 04 and have been able to make it to one game (Fresno St in 07 I believe it was). Stadium was only about 1/2 full, weather sucked complete with pregame lightning delay, but it was a great experience.
Anyhow, my parents are in town now and have never been so I'm looking to get some tickets to any home game. I'm sure the big ones will be tough to get to for a decent price, but one can hope. :)
Ok, enough of that. Checking out stub hub and ebay it appears most tickets for sale are in the 600 sections. The pics on lsusports.net don't look too bad as far as view of the game goes. Does anyone have any input as to how the view is for these seats? My only experience has been in 407, row 11. Great seats.
I know I can check out the ticket exchange as it gets closer to the games. But I wanted to do a little pre-buying research first.
Thanks for any input.
Also, if this is in the wrong forum, please move it.

try your best to get vandy tickets. it will be conference opener and we will still be "undefeated" which is always more fun.

That was actually one of the first games I was targeting. I've found a number of tickets for that game so far, all in the 600's...and a few around the 407 that I'm familiar with.

i have only been in the 600's for one game, but did not enjoy it. though that one game was against ole miss last year. but the people around me were boring and just sat there from beginning to end. i just did not feel like i was experiencing the game.
some people might like it but i did not. the other seats i usually sit in are in the 400's and i like those well enough.

I know I'm going to get hammered for this but I for one prefer the East Upper Deck to the endzones in the lower bowl. I'm in Section 632. I find that I can see the game better from the side, even though it's higher, than I did when I sat in the South endzone. The seat width and width of the aisles is greater up there too so you're not quite as packed in. Access to bathrooms and concessions is better, an important point for families and old people. I also find that I can hear the band better than when I was in the South endzone. All that said, would I like to have chairbacks in the lower bowl between the 20's?? You're damn right I would but since that ain't happening, I prefer the experience up there to that in the endzones.

I usually sit in South upper, 416, about halfway up. I love it there, great when it's a good game. Not the best for seeing the other end of the field, but I still pick it as my favorite.
I've sat in the west upper, 40 yardline, 3 or 4 rows from the bottom. These are great for seeing plays develop and catching everything that happens on the field. Didn't get as loud, and my seats were the last row in the bottom section, only 3 or 4 rows, so it didn't feel like I was in the crowd.

I hear people say that a lot but I can't say that I've noticed that on the east side. Don't know if it's just acustics or if has a lot to do with where the band used to be located....before last year, they were pointed right at me but I know the west upper couldn't hear them at all. Never sat over there so .
