He would be the first elite qb that Miles recruited out of high school and coached up.

thanks for refreshing. I haven't lost faith in the young man. That was certainly an impressive write up but what stood out most for me was his interviews. So mature and well spoken for a HS senior. Going on his second yr, I think it's his time!!!!

It's like a friend in college that still had a 4.0 at the beginning of every semester - the optimist!

We don't have to worry about Miles coaching him up. He brought in Cam for that. I know that Cam earned a lot of justifiable criticism for how the QBs were handled and prepared, and for how the offense went last season. However, he was also responsible for one of our best offenses in many years in 2013. And, while Mett showed improvement down the stretch in 2012, he was still inconsistent, at best (See the bowl game vs Clemson). He took a big step forward in 2013 under Cam. And the guy's record of coaching up QBs prior to LSU speaks for itself.

So this is different. Miles now has a coach who actually has a history of developing QBs, both in college and in the pros, and turning them into NFL level guys. We haven't had that since Jimbo was here. Elite talent can go to waste without the right coaching.

I have confidence in cam making this offense outstanding. He was limited last year with such a young and inexperienced offense. His system is very complicated and takes a while for a qb to figure it out

Brandon Harris certainly has the potential to be one of the best to come through LSU in terms of raw physical ability.

It is on him to realize it though. This offense is stacked for him and he has one of the best offensive minds to groom him.

He needs to put in the work and not rely on his natural talents to carry him(Jamarcus Russell). Improve every single season by focusing on and trying to perfect every aspect of your game. Pocket Presence, Control, Consistency, Composure, Manipulating Defenses.

Learn to use your legs as an asset to your arm and not as a Primary or Secondary weapon.(Those QBs do not tend have long careers.)

Take check downs when given to you. The shot plays will come. Games are not won on a single play. They are won as a compilation of the team's body of work. Trust them to do their part.

Maybe.

Maybe not.

How about we give the kid a chance before we anoint him as anything. Like let's see if he can run the right plays and stuff.
