Etling has to improve his numbers under center to win over CLM. I think that CLM would prefer to run every play from under center.
Etling had 6 attempts from under center. He went 1-6. His 1 completion was a 5 yard curl to Dural.
While under center he threw an interception and fumbled.
If he doesn't improve under center I don't think he will be around long

You need a timeout from starting Etling threads.

Well, no matter how you look at where he is when he takes snaps, he wins soooo... he'll start.

But he's looking at it like Miles would, so he doesn't know how to properly use a timeout.

"winston318" you're from Shreveport aren't you? You are I bet you have two accents. A redneck from north Louisiana and redneck from Oklahomo too.

I am. There isn't a better place to be from.

I have a southern accent but with me being black I doubt if it's redneck

I appreciate the joke, but Miles did a great job managing the timeouts at the end of the first half. Really caught me off guard.

Too bad Les/Cam is allergic to creating a philosophy around our players' abilities.

No. I'm pissed at the way it's gone down. Etling and Harris have run 2 different offenses. When Etling runs the offense that Harris is in 80% of the time he looks garbage. Let BH run that second quarter offense that Etling was able to run and then get at me. We're not comparing apples to apples

Even if they do run different offenses, Harris hasn't shown that he can be accurate. I think he misses Chark on that pass to the flat and I think he overthrows Smith on the TD by 5 yards--if he even sees him to begin with. Even if Harris runs the "2nd quarter offense," he still can't complete a pass.
