I think this game at Mississippi State is the pivotal game to our season. Dak Prescott basically beat us by himself last year and he is back again this year. They do replace 3 starters on the offensive line and have lost a ton of experience across the board. I think Mississippi State is a 7-5 type team this year, but with this game being so early in the season and a home game for them, it will no doubt be a challenge. If we see anything that looks like this, we may be in trouble.

The pivotal game has to be AU for me. If we beat them, we are rolling high and mighty into the toughest part.

No way LSU loses to State two years in a row.

No. Way.

I think you need to get to Auburn 2-0. If we take a loss at State, the Auburn game could send us in a tailspin. Not saying that it is going to happen but its possible.

Why did Dak come back if they are going to be so bad?

He would have been paid pretty well by an NFL team I would think.

Same reasons Tebow came back. Not NFL caliber, enjoys college, delusional, etc.

that is a valid question.

maybe competing against less draft position qbs this time around? i have no idea of the qbs last season vs this season though.

Still think its a tough game and a must win for LSU if the season is going to be a good one.

he may also not be a highly rated nfl qb to begin with.. and maybe wants to maximize his playing career.

i have no idea how dak projects to the next level.. didn't he finish the season worse than he started? that may not have helped either. again though i admit i don't know anything about him.

I think it's pivotal because it will show us if Harris has the balls to hang in the SEC all year.

I don't really either. I guess my thoughts are just remembering him running all over us in Tiger Stadium and the holes big enough to drive a truck through on our defensive line.

1. No looking ahead.
2. They're all pivotal. No room to slack on ANY game.

Mississippi State absolutely is the pivotal game. Only problem is so is the next game. And a few others after that. It'll be an intense season.

We need to beat State in order to have any chance. Plenty of tougher games down the road.

Exactly......... If he was "all that", he would have jumped after last season. Tebow all over again.

I really think we kind of blow them out this year. I worry about games like USCe on the road and Ole Miss on the road.
