See like we've had this discussion before about the aforementioned topic...want to elaborate further about why STTDB is "okie dokie" in your book during the games??

Miles should go coach k on you dumbasses and grab the mike right before kickoff and essentially go off on y'all.
STTDB is a damn embarrassment and the fact that you students don't realize it is a double embarrassment.

Good grief! Why don't y'all just set a place and time to beat the hell out of each other and get it over with!

IF the cheerleaders hold up a sign that states, 'keep it clean', try your best to be respectful of that (I'm sure this wasn't their idea). IF this particular verbiage does not apply to you, ignore it and move on! Don't exacerbate the problem with 'I told you so'! (this is not productive)

I believe the point was to let everyone know this is a possibility, NOT to start a war between the 5-year olds! 'nuf said!!!

Enjoy the game and

LOUDEST STTDB everrrrrrr

I may even participate if they hold these up. What a dumb fricking idea

EVERY single school has bad words mixed in by the student sections. Keep the damn TV mic's out of there and problem solved. LSU's student section has been changing lyrics since before most of us were even born.

The Chicago Bulls probably had fans that had been cursing since before most of us were born but decided at some point things had gotten out of hand. I also remember as a kid when folks could bring alcohol into the stadium but the rules had to be changed because enough people didn't know their proper boundaries. It would be easier if the students realized they need to tone down the obscenities then all these rules wouldn't need to be put in place.

Why wouldn't they? Why do you think you haven't heard it in years?

Who made this bed? Maybe those 18-22 yr olds should be embarrassed that this is what the university has resorted to. Sure as hell never held up any signs during my time in the SS (01-04). Is screaming suck a dick really worth more piped in music and the banning of some great band songs?

exactly. This is a good try and if those 18-22 year old adult college students are too immature for their own good, so be it. Take all the music away and pipe it all in. It will even further diminish the T.S. experience, but too bad. They were the ones that ruined it. Maybe if these songs are taken away long enough for all the students graduate and move on the new round of students won't remember the stupid chants and they can bring them back, but until then the team will just have to be darned good to make up for it, .

I will never understand why people, who work at a place CRAWLING with 18-22 year olds, think it's a good idea to tell them to NOT do things like this at football games.

This would have made us chant it even louder as a student. I'm sure they're with me on that.

LSU hasn't taken the extra step that the Chicago Bulls have - threatening ejection for cursing - but that will be the next step. The policy seems to be working in Chicago. LSU is asking the students to tone it down and you guys are just laughing at that as if shouting obscenities is a key part of the game experience that everyone recognizes. The next step will be warnings that you will be ejected. You don't have a right to be in the stadium and the university can make and enforce its own rules on the issue.
