How? I would have rather Ron Cooper but we needed one of them.

Ron Cooper is so good he's currently HC at Long Island University.

He has been at 7 different programs in 12 years since he left LSU in 2011; and was out of coaching entirely in 2020.

Where does this retarded shite come from? The only person Raymond has to answer too is Kelly, not a bunch of Mike's from Plaquemine.

It sounds like these idiots blame the entire 2020 and 2021 debacle on Corey Raymond.

I heard Kelly is hiring Orgeron as head coach
Wouldnt hurt he is a NC winning coach he may be able to give Kelly some pointers on how to win one.

Lol no. It’s not. While there are other options out there and some arguably even better, having Raymond back is absolutely NOT “terrible for the program”.

Because 2020 and 2021 were so great.

We could use him for recruiting purposes but I would follow Aranda’s lead and get someone else in there to do the coaching part with him.

The Raymond hate has really become exaggerated. This is/would be a really good addition.

He hated recruiting but was hands down better than CR as a coach.
CR is not a great db coach. He was able to keep the pipeline that Saban and Cooper built going and that’s it.

Coop is doing what he loves as the head coach. Makes plenty of money and is probably stress free when compared to the expectations of an lsu level program

I see this repeated a lot. Raymond obviously knows how to coach corners.

Aranda for Busch to coach safeties.

Such BS. Nobody on this board was happy when he left. It's such revisionist history to suggest otherwise - let me see your post from 12/8/21 when he took the Florida job. And it turned out we were right as hell to be concerned. The only thing I disliked about CR in the past was his repeated flirtations with other jobs. I don't think that'll be an issue now that he returns hat in hand.

TD thread when he was hired by Florida

Im down with Les coming on board to help prepare for Week 1 OOC games. We can set him up in an apartment near campus or something.

Everyone keeps repeating this like it's unusual. This happened around the time when an additional on-field coach was allowed by the NCAA. Due to the nature of the game changing (i.e. everyone airs out the ball), having one person handle DBs alone isn't as common as it once was.
