RIP Roscoe. I never met you but I always appreciated you as a fellow purple and gold diehard and for your love of the university and team that I love.

You will be missed.

ETA. Apparently was fighting an illness for awhile and lost his battle last night. Was ex-military and will be buried with honors.

All of this per Jimmy and Hanny this afternoon on Game Time.

Yes, he was a regular caller and guest host on Jimmy's show for decades. Good dude, and loved the Tigers more than most. He always made me smile because his love for LSU blinded him sometimes....but then again it does all of us.

Apparently he was quietly battling an illness.

Wow. I’m sorry to hear that.

I met him a couple times over the past few years and always enjoyed my time around him.

He will absolutely be missed. RIP

Damn sad. Loved listening to that guy especially when Ott used to get him all riled up on something. RIP

52, that’s it? It seems like he was calling in 30 years ago

He was very sick a while back, but then it seemed like he had recovered because he was back as a constant fixture on Ott’s show. Hell, I recall hearing him co-host it seems like a week or two ago

He was battling for the past 8 years and you could never tell. They gave him 5 years to live and he got an extra 3 out of it. Received some bad news about a month ago
