No.

She could always get a real job if athletics isn't going to pay the bills. She could probably make a hell of a salesperson with her looks, charisma, and name recognition.

Or she can stay on the c-list celebrity track...

Doing what exactly?

How many women hurdlers do you know? How many women bobsledders do you know? Lolo has turned heartbreak at the Olympics into a successful career. We can ask, "doing what"? But her constantly being in the spotlight for the last 6 years has to be putting coin in her pocket. She's attractive, has a great personality, and will be living comfortably the rest of her life.

Once again, good for her.

Personally, none. But I also don't know the names of the 6 female Athletes who finished ahead of her in the 2008 Olympic games or the 3 who finished ahead of her in 2012.

You think she isn't getting paid for being on "Dancing with the Stars"? What "real job" do you have? Are you jealous that she is famous and you aren't? She isn't a "C-list" celebrity for nefarious reasons. She became famous as a world class athlete. You said earlier she sends out stupid tweets. Do you think every person in America knows who Eric Legrand is? When she learned of her faux pas, she immediately apologized. Doesn't make her stupid.

You seem to be taking this very personally.

Never said she was stupid, tonto. I said her tweets were asinine.

Hey listen, bub, she's still flashing the v-card. Your arse kissing isn't going to get you lucky if you bump into her at some function.

That kind of proves the point. She was the most like-able and had the most charisma out of all of those athletes. In all of the 2008 Summer Olympics, how many athletes do you remember? Michael Phelps, and I can't think of another of the top of my head.

There is nothing wrong for Lolo being successful because people like her.

I just don't understand why you are so negative towards a person who is trying to do something good with her life. I watched her SEC storied a long time ago, and I don't remember specifics, but didn't she have a very tough childhood? She has done quite well for herself without having any of the "advantages" in life.

I also remember Kirsty Coventry, Usain, and a few of the gymnasts. They won shite, though.

I don't think Lolo is wrong. I think she's capitalizing on her opportunities/assets. What I think is "curious" and silly (not wrong) is how long 15 minutes lasts in this country these days.

Bro, you just compared Lolo Jones to Dan Marino.

Anyway, maybe it's fair to say that I'm more an LSU Football fan than an all-things LSU fan (not being an alum and all).

I just don't get the hype.

She will probably end up with a career in broadcasting. Probably a morning show host like Robin Roberts, or something like that. Maybe some pseudo-political show like "the View".
