We r FB friends. Realize this is lengthy but I agree 100%.

My view on LSU....not that anyone really cares, but here it goes......LOL

First let me say that I really like Les Miles as a person and for what he has accomplished at LSU, but wish it was more! (Like every LSU fan). I also realize what a fine line you walk in change from prosperity to peril.
I'm afraid this situation is far from over. This was a truly bungled situation from the beginning. Now it seems we might have a "lame duck" to some degree. The lines were drawn in the sand in the last few weeks and sides revealed. Now with one AD statement they've been erased and all is supposed to be well?? Hardly!!! This is a train wreck! I've wanted Les to stay and be given a chance to right the ship, but it went so far so quick, I thought that there was no turning back. Now, we have last night's "he's our coach" speech which looked so hollow and was a grasp at the last minute by Alleva and gang. We are not united anymore even though we probably never were. We just hid it from the rest of the nation. Now we are exposed! We might be LSU, but we are also CLM?? and CLM??.
I support Les (CLM??) even though I am upset watching EVERY LSU game. They never seem to be crisp or have continuity, especially offensively.
I have sat and watched them and "got used" to their quirks. However, something has to give and I'm not sure Les can change it or wants to. (Remember Crowton and how the offense was supposed to look different after him?! Well.....any changes??)
This situation has now shifted the power balance and made CLM stronger and bigger than life.
I am a supporter but also a realist. LSU Football has taken a huge hit and is fractured! The damage remains to be seen in the upcoming future!
The realist in me is not happy!!! Lol

If he does not win next year and I mean win the SEC or make the playoffs. There will be no speculation he will be fired instantly. It will not be drawn out just fire him. I truly believe his agent leaked everything and they staged that last night. Therefore he once again put pressure on Alleva the same way he handled the Arkansas deal. Be careful showing support for a man that just a few years ago only cared about money. It was his fault we lost the NC on 1/9/12 but he used that moment to use his power to squeeze more money from the school he alleges he loves. Les Miles is a joke of a coach and a great politician. What I watched last night was about making himself bigger than the university and for that he is selfish. So next year when we watch the same shite we have been watching there will not be a a waiting period he will be fired on the spot. We are LSU before him and we will be LSU after him. He lost my respect 3 years ago with the Arkansas deal I think he and Alleva should both be fired

My take on it is if the local hs coach was a better coach he wouldn't be a local hs coach.

Equally as meaningless as any poster on this site's take.

This is inconsequential to the Les Miles cult. Their idol is still here for them to worship.

Well said. He has wasted so much of our money on hiring his buddies, and will continue to do so... $4.3m....$1.4m, etc... I'm literally nauseous that he is still our coach...

Oh, I agree that it's become a cult.

And most cult members are two bricks short of a full load, or they wouldn't be cult members.

And that applies to the Miles cult on these forums, and in LSU and Baton Rouge generally.
